We are now accepting registrations for the 2017-2018 school year. Classes will begin on Thursday, September 14. We are asking that you register early so we can plan for classes accordingly.

The fee for registration is as follows:

1st Child - $90.00

2nd Child - $85.00

3rd Child - $80.00

After September 7, the fee for registration will be an additional $10.00 per child to cover the additional cost of separate books.

In order to be in compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Newark, students must complete eight years of religious education training in order to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Therefore, if your child has not attended religious education classes regularly, they will be placed in the level in which they need to continue.

You will need to register each child separately on the online form!

What is CCD?

CCD is the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. It is where the youth learn about God's love and the way of Christian / Catholic life. St. Hedwig's CCD has a program that runs from grades 1-8. Our CCD program guides the children through many of the Sacraments of their childhood including Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. The children learn about the Seven Sacraments, Ten Commandments, Eight Beatitudes, the Stations of the Cross, and very important morals. Students recite prayers like Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be, before every single class.

Who is in charge of CCD?

St. Hedwig's CCD program is managed by Michele Yamakaitis, DRE. We begin enrolling new students in late August of each year. Our CCD program is taught by volunteers who dedicate their time to teaching the youth about God's love and compassion.
